About me

Hello! I’m Sam Reed

My name is Sam, my training and personal counselling journey have given me the opportunity to become self aware of some life issues that have been thrown my way. I can now implement my qualifications and draw on my own life’s experiences to fully present and to be congruent within the counselling room.

I am a Fully Qualified, experienced Integrative Counsellor, I spent eighteen months volunteering my services at PLACE2BE (Child Counselling) and WHIST (Adult Counselling) I practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Approach and Person Centred Approach. I am a member of The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) I am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS Certificate. I offer Counselling to children/teenagers and adults. I am very passionate about counselling adults/children who present with SEN (special educational need) I am familiar and work with Makaton and Pecs (picture exchange communication system)
